| Debnam Announces Sydney Harbour and Parramatta River Rescue Plan |

NSW Opposition Leader Peter Debnam today announced the NSW Liberal/Nationals plan to clean up Sydney Harbour and the Parramatta River.
"Labor has neglected the world's greatest waterway to the point that it is no longer safe to fish in most of Sydney Harbour," Mr Debnam said. "It is an international disgrace and I will take action to fix it," he said. "This is a toxic clean-up to help the local environment, but it's also about lifestyle and getting NSW back in front," he said. "I want parents and grandparents to be able to take their children fishing in Sydney Harbour and the Parramatta River. "This toxic clean-up should have been done decades ago. Labor should never have allowed it to get the point where fishing is banned in parts of Sydney Harbour and Parramatta River. "It's a serious health risk.
