Della Bosca And Labor Wrong Again

John Della Bosca and Labor have got it wrong again, NSW Opposition Leader and Shadow Minister for Western Sydney Peter Debnam said today.

"Morris Iemma and John Della Bosca should have joined me at the Stanhope Gardens Shopping Centre in North-Western Sydney this morning to listen to the concerns of a mother about the lack of support for her autistic son," said Mr Debnam, who is travelling the state as part of his Get NSW Back in Front – Living the Issues Tour.

"They then could have joined me and Liberal Candidate for Riverstone Kevin Conolly inspecting a dangerous road near Quakers Hill High, where the community has been lobbying for a 40km school zone for years," he said.

"Many of the students attending Quakers Hill High use an alley which takes them out to the busy Quakers Hill Parkway – which isn't a school zone because of a technicality.

"Local parents told me of near misses with school students scampering across the road, which has a speed limit of 70km/h.

"I can't believe the arrogance of Labor and the RTA not to make the section of the Parkway near Quakers Hill High a school zone.

"Morris Iemma and John Della Bosca should focus on the real issues affecting the people of NSW instead sending of their union thug mates and Labor staffers to follow me around the state.

"For too long NSW has had to put up with Labor's spin and lies. I want to get NSW back in front and leading Australia again," Mr Debnam said.
